Free at Last were formed in 1982 under the name Uncle Sam. Uncle Sam featured three of the current members, Jak (guitar/vocals), Shane (guitar) and Mick (drums) until Dave joined on bass in 1994. Uncle Sam's set contained a few original songs plus covers by such classic acts as ZZ Top, Pat Travers and of course Free. All the guys in the band have always had a great passion for the music of Free, so in 1996 when deciding to create a tribute there was only one choice who it would be.

Since then they have gone from strength to strength headlining at Bill Flynn's Free Convention and playing many of the top venues around the country, universally agreed to be the best Free and Bad Company tribute around.

They're 19, from the North London suburbs and have rocked over 150 live gigs in the past 9 months, putting in the slog that's got them labelled as the tightest new guitar band in Britain. They write their own songs. They're red-blooded rock 'n' rollers. They've also packed in working on building sites to record with music industry legend John Cornfield (Stone Roses, Oasis, Cast, Muse, The Verve) and they're about to hit The Roadhouse with the full force of unbridled British youth at play. It was 1993 when three friends, Steve Black (drummer), Keith Jenkins (Guitarist) and Kevin Brown (bassist) with a mutual respect and passion for Led Zeppelin decided to form a tribute band called 'Fred Zeppelin' that would create note for note performances of the legendary's rock bands music. As they hit the local circuit in the midlands with Vocalist Rob Bloomer, they performed some of Led zeppelins greatest tracks and gained a following. Vocalist, Steve Gale was hired after Bloomers departure and the line up spend many years playing individual performances, up and down the country. It was 2010 when Brown decided to retire from the band and hand over his position as bassist to Elliot Gavin.

Formed in 2000 the band has been through various line up changes and the current one is the strongest yet. Brilliant musicianship and the visual aspects of the show means that it has been enjoyed by rock fans all over the country whether or not they previously considered themselves Alice aficionados.

There are no half measures with an Alike Cooper show. It’s a full-on theatrical rock experience, which includes a psycho nurse, an electric chair, a strait jacket and the numerous other props and costume changes which make an Alice Cooper performance so memorable, as well, of course, as faithful versions of some of the best songs in rock history.
