When we booked the tour last year, we were confident that we would have the new album out before the Summer. Turns out we were mistaken as the album is taking longer than we thought and won't be out till later this year. We hoped we would have some new songs to play rather than do another 'greatest hits tour' which you all saw last Summer. As much as we know our fans would be cool with that, we feel that we owe you guys something new when you spend your money to come see us. Frankly, it's what needs to continue for us to remain vital. The three of us are working very hard to do what we set out to do when we re-formed...get a new blink-182 album recorded. Apologies to all of our fans who have bought tickets and were looking forward to the Summer shows butwe'll be back soon with the rescheduled dates in Summer 2012, have a new album out and be able to play new songs for you all. Thanks for all of the continued support and understanding.

Original tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date.

This time round, you’ll see Agnes Brown – who is played by Brendan O’Carroll – enjoy what seems to be her last days at home. After hearing a plot, by her children, to have her put into a home, Agnes decides to prove them wrong by displaying a new lease of life.

However, this is not going to be as easy as it seems; along the way she has to deal with a psychiatrist trying to put her in her place, her son’s gay partner who wants to give birth, her neighbour’s wait for a heart bypass and, worst of all, a family secret that everyone seems to know except her.

Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of the War of The Worlds , 7 Dec 2012

7 Dec 2012 - Theatre at The NIA

In December 2012, the NIA’s stage will be coming alive with The War of the Worlds as Jeff Wayne brings his new musical version, ‘The New Generation’, to the Birmingham-based venue, with a new, very special guest narrator: Liam Neeson. The musical spectacular is a new interpretation of Jeff Wayne’s 1978 concept album which tells the classic story of ‘The War of the Worlds’ by HG Wells.

The arena show will feature CGI graphics, a live orchestra and performers. The narration will be provided by Liam Neeson who will appear in the show as an 11-foot high holographic head and shoulders as well as a full body holographic, which will interact with performers in the show; this is the first time this has ever been seen within live entertainment in the world.

The Bootleg Beatles , 16 Dec 2012

16 Dec 2012 - Rock & Pop at The NIA

UK success continued to prove elusive. In 1990 the Bootleg Beatles booked 10 shows in cities in which The Beatles had performed in their final UK tour in 1965. Audiences were small but enthusiastic, and another tour was booked for the following year. This proved more popular, and as each year went by so crowds grew, the tours expanded, and the venues got larger.

Finally, a gig in Southampton caught the attention of Oasis, leading to the Bootleg Beatles supporting the Britpop band at Earls Court. This gave the band a contemporary audience and increased their credibility, launching them onto the premier European festival circuit and shared stages with Rod Stewart, Bon Jovi, David Bowie, The Corrs, Manic Street Preachers and Iggy Pop.
