Dorothy, the little girl from Kansas is blown by a tornado into Munchkinland in the Land Of Oz, where she is informed that the only possible way to find her way back home is through the assistance of the powerful Wizard in the Emerald City. As she goes searching for him, along the yellow brick road, she befriends some creatures who are facing problems in life just like her, The Scarecrow, The Tinman and The Lion. In their quest to find and get help from the Wizard, they also face Evillene, the equally evil sister of Evermean, the wicked witch whom Dorothy inadvertently killed when she arrived in Oz, and who may be their biggest obstacle in achieving their goals.

Our Town , 18 Jul 2012 - 21 Jul 2012

18 Jul 2012 - 21 Jul 2012 - Theatre at Crescent Theatre

Since its debut in 1938, Thornton Wilder’s Our Town has been embraced as an American classic. The play is complex and rich enough in meaning to be analysed by school students, whilst the beauty of its vivid characters and their innocent relationships warrants continual productions on Broadway and in community theatres throughout its nation. This play is not yet a staple of British theatre but Stage2 aim to bring its charm and style to new audiences in our traditional portrayal of this American treasure.

Our Town takes place in a 1930s theatre. The gentle guidance and insightful words of the Stage Manager are used to create the fictional community of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire. Our Town represents Americana, the small town life of the early 1900s, a world none of us have ever experienced.

Three Tall Women	, 20 Jul 2012

20 Jul 2012 - Theatre at Crescent Theatre

Three Tall Women was written shortly after the death of Edward Albee’s adoptive mother, and it remains his most personal play. Wickedly funny, and told with uncompromising truth, the play takes a long, hard look at the arc of one human life from the perspectives of three different generations—one woman in youth, one woman in middle age, and one woman lying on her death bed. As the elder woman reflects on her life—including the estrangement of her son, widely interpreted to represent Albee himself—she develops clarity of mind that transcends her debilitated body.
