Co-writer and star of RTE’s comedy series Couched, Ian is one of Ireland's leading performers.

A regular on the Irish comedy circuit, Ian has toured extensively throughout the country and recently debuted in Scotland making up one third of the sell-out show at the Edinburgh Festival 'Young, Gifted and Green'.

Well known for his improvisational skills, Ian has lead Dublin’s Comedy Improv team for over seven years performing weekly in Ireland's oldest comedy venue at the International Bar. This led to an invitation to perform in Canada with the infamous 'Second City', and he has since shared the stage with many of America’s top improvisers at the annual Kilkenny Comedy Festival.

After a fantastic year touring the UK supporting Milton Jones and Josie Long, and a smash-hit run at the Edinburgh Festival, one of the country’s most exciting young comedians James Acaster brings his critically acclaimed debut tour show to The Glee.

James often makes good/very good first impressions on other people’s parents, he believes this bodes well for his show and wants you to know that. Expect gangly limbs, fond memories and references to Weetabix.

JJ hails from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia originally and for the last nine years has made England his home base for spreading his humour worldwide including China, Australia, France, Holland. In the past year he has made an appearance at the Melbourne festival, filmed a pilot for channel 4 in Britain, and finished his third solo run in four years at the prestigious Edinburgh festival.

Having recently appeared on 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Rob Brydon Show, Russell Howard's Good News, Show & Tell, Dave’s One Night Stand, Radio 5’s Back End Of Next Week and BBC Wales’ Rhod Gilbert Show, Elis James has cemented himself as one of comedy’s brightest young stars.

Elis began performing stand up in 2005, and in 2008 was chosen by Avalon to host the prestigious new act showcase 'The Comedy Zone' at the Edinburgh Festival.

In 2010 he followed in the footsteps of Simon Pegg, Dylan Moran, Ardal O'Hanlon, Dara O'Briain and Ross Noble by starring in 'Best of the Edinburgh Fest' at the Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney Comedy Festivals.
