Art-Science Workshop: The Sound of Dancing Bubbles

Did you know that bubbles can clean your teeth?

Inspired by the current Open Wide exhibition Dancing Bubbles, these workshops explore the research at the University of Birmingham on using bubbles to clean teeth. Discovering the sounds of cavitation bubbles and the dental research laboratory, these interactive workshops will delve into sound and painting, to create our own dancing bubbles!

This session will be led by sound artist and composer Emma Margetson and scientist Dr Nina Vyas.

Wednesday 31st October 2018

10:00-10:45 am: 4-8 years (booking required)

11:00-11:45am: 8-12 years (booking required)

12:00-2:00pm: A drop-in session open to all, simply turn up and explore!

Venue: Foyer, Birmingham Dental Hospital

Admission: Free but booking is essential
