Former Director of Research and Technology at Rolls-Royce, and Honorary Professor in Materials Engineering at University of Birmingham, Professor Richard (Ric) Parker CBE, will be delivering the next talk in the University's 'Leading Thinkers' Series.
His talk titled 'Models for Industrial Innovation' will reflect on what makes innovation successful, and the difference between invention and innovation. With his extensive knowledge, Ric will explore the various models and approaches for corporate innovation by using examples from the different companies that have successfully employed each of his models.
Complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be served at the drinks reception following the event. Alcoholic drinks will be only be served to those who are aged 18 or over.
