The Importance of Being Earnest: Birmingham Medics

Source https://www.facebook.com/events/1986259231696179/

The University of Birmingham Medical School Medics present Oscar Wilde's Trivial Comedy for Serious People: The Importance of Being Earnest on the 7th, 8th and 9th of February. 99.9% satire guaranteed.

In this farcical comedy Wilde pokes fun at the serious trivialities of Victorian society, marriage, religion, family, art, education, love and science, hence leading to the unfortunate and untimely demise of Wilde's literary and theatrical career. Hilarity ensues as we do the same in the Arthur Thompson Hall in the Medical School.

Doors open at 7pm, curtain 7:30pm. Refreshments available at the interval (non-alcoholic). £4 students/£7 non-students.
