Join the Birmingham & Black Country Wildlife Trust for two days of geological fun at Thinktank Science Museum this holiday!
We will be exploring the geological past of the West Midlands and discovering how the geology has affected, influenced and shaped our rich industrial heritage, from Dudley lime kilns to King’s Norton brickworks – the West Midlands had it all!
There will be information about sites of geological interest for you to take away and explore in your own time, fun activities for all ages, and the chance to meet a geologist and learn more about the history of the West Midlands. We will also be sharing information about how geology affects wildlife and why we work to preserve areas of open rock for the benefit of the natural environment.
This event will be held inside Thinktank on Level 1 and as such an entrance fee applies. Please see the Thinktank website for more information.
