A welcome return to the Birmingham Jazz Festival for this very entertaining band from Hungary led by Ferenc Gayer. The BRB was formed in 1980 to play ragtime, its repertoire has gradually expanded to include the whole canon of traditional jazz. Several of the musicians double up on instruments, which gives the band its extraordinary musical range. The band combines brilliant musicianship with a great capacity for fun.
