Performance Opportunity for Young Disabled Artists FREE
Permission to Perform: Development Opportunity for Disabled Artists aged between 14-25
What? An exciting workshop event in creative performance for young disabled people aged between 14-25, providing opportunities for new and emerging artists. There will be 6 workshops beginning from 7th June with a final performance at the end on 19th July, taking place at The Blue Orange Theatre. All performers will be under the artistic guidance of author, artist, musician, as well as 9 times paralympic gold medallist, Robin Surgeoner.
Why? The lifestyles, structures and day-to-day challenges of young disabled people rarely permit free artistic expression. At the Blue Orange Theatre, we seek to provide a platform and opportunities for new and emerging artists and to help identify the artists of the future.
When? Wednesdays, from 7th June to 12th July 2017 10.30am - 5.30pm
Performance: 19th July 2017 (time to be confirmed)
