New Zealand born violinist Benjamin Baker was selected for Young Classical Artist Trust representation in 2013 following an outstanding performance in the YCAT competition final in Wigmore Hall. He gives his first concert in the Barber with pianist, Carole Presland, and together they perform Richard Strauss’s sonata for violin and piano along with one of Heinrich Ernst’s virtuosic etudes for solo violin.
