Death over Dinner
Audiences in Birmingham are being invited to a dining experience with a difference.
Death over Dinner includes a three course feast as well as a series of talks and performances all inspired by tales from beyond the grave.
Stirchley Baths will be transformed into a world of gothic intrigue and diners will be introduced to stories, characters and scenarios brought to life by speakers and artists.
Included in the line-up is artist Joanne Tremarco, whose show The Birth of Death is a lyrical but also humorous meditation on dying. Also speaking is Hilary Grainger of The Victorian Society, who will share some surprising anecdotes about traditions at the turn of the 20th century.
And organisers are keeping a few more tricks up their sleeve. All food and drink will be prepared by ChangeKitchen. Please note that all the food served will be vegetarian or/and vegan, and non-alcoholic drinks options will be available.
Tickets are £35 plus booking fee.
