Reggae Caribbean Cookout FREE
Reggae Caribbean Cookout returns to the Jewellery Quarter for a Bank Holiday Special.
Birmingham's street food trader Mr Jerk will be serving authentic Jamaican cuisine such as curry goat, rice and peas, jerk pork and of course his delicious jerk chicken. There will also be Caribbean vegetarian food options available.
We will be taking you down memory lane. As well as vintage Reggae, ska and rocksteady this year 90's Dancehall will be introduced. Feel free to put on your string vest, clarke's or for the women of course those batty rider shorts.
There is also the introduction of Gimme a Buss. This is a opportunity for Reggae groups and bands that are looking to perform in front of the Reggae Caribbean Cookout crowd and have their performance shared on the new Reggae Caribbean Cookout YouTube channel and selected performances will be shared on VP Records social media sites.
Expect Wray and Nephew and Appleton Estate cocktails, cold Red Stripe beer.
You can play dominoes as well as cards or just relax and enjoy the cool vibes.
