African Drumming Beginners Class

West African drumming beginners classes in Moseley. New 5-week half term as part of on-going beginners group, Wed eves 26th Sept to 24th Oct.

You’ll get expert tuition with professional percussionist, Sarah Westwood, and a very friendly group. African drumming is GREAT FUN. Learn the fundamentals of good technique, traditional rhythms on djembes & dunduns (bass drums) and have an exhilarating experience!

Drumming is lively, powerful, brain expanding and very good for you – stress-reducing, immune-boosting & the most FUN mindfulness activity ever! Sarah has studied and performed West African rhythms for over 20 years, leads bands, Cassia Tree and Drumvoice Orchestra, and has a great understanding of the drumming music of this region.

***PLACES ARE LIMITED Discounted price of £25 for the half term (5 weeks) to be sure of a drum each week for first 16 people, or £6 for a single session.
