Birmingham Heritage: Lunar Pastels FREE

Celebrating the Best of Birmingham and James Watt’s bicentenary at Soho House Museum. In 2019, we are celebrating ‘People Power’, and there are few people who had more to do with steam power than James Watt! James Watt was a key member of the Lunar Society, whose ideas shaped the modern world, and he also settled right here in Handsworth! To coincide with this month’s full moon, we will be creating lunar pastels and finding our more about Watt’s friendships with the other members of the Lunar Society and his ideas which influenced the Industrial Revolution. Join artist Faith Pearson and make some magnificent moon marvels with this free workshop
