What's The Word? (No 2)

Source https://www.facebook.com/events/142924116339571

An evening of spoken word, poetry and music from some of the cream of the scene - all within Birmingham's coolest and newest venue: RJJZ's Jazz Café Bar!

Featured artists this month are: Jamaican Dub-Griot, Kokumo Noxid, Worcester poet and author Holly Daffurn, Redditch's Jess Davies* and Jamaican singer-songwriter, Shariska Ajarie. And of course, your host, the effervescent 'Gentleman Yam': Mr Glyn Phillips!

Come along to a friendly, but enervating evening of mindful messages, wordy wonder and veracious verbalising (and yes, that's veracious, not voracious!) as well as the utterly delicious and smoky vocals of Ms Shariska Ajarie!!

[* please note Jess Davies replaces the previously advertised artist, Bethany Slinn, who will now be performing in December's "What's The Word?"} Only £4 in.
