What a Nice Night: Number 11 FREE
With a slightly later start time than usual What a Nice Night returns. Featuring comedy of all kinds, it's designed to be a welcoming space for everyone, acts and audience alike.
Entry is free, but contributions are welcome. Come and join us if you fancy a nice night!
The line up has changed slightly as of the week starting 17/12/18.
You'll be able to see:
Ashlea Williams: Ashlea has a lot to get off her chest, from the intricacies of gender politics to the increasing relevancy of mid 90s sci-fi. Come and listen to her so she’s not shouting into the wind.
“A healthy dose of self deprecating whimsy with a feminist edge” - Tickled Pig Finalist 2014.
Ola Brown: A poet, an artist and curious spectator, with a colourful imagination and a twisted outlook on life.
She spends a significant amount of time covered in cat hair, observing the wonders of humankind and writing way too much about it.
Joe Goodsall: Notorious for going off topic and talking for too long. He's trying to turn this into an art form. At WaNN he'll be attempting to cram 20 minutes of material into a 10 minute set. He’s been working to get this right for 3 years now; In great cities like Edinburgh and London. Come along and see if he'll finally achieve his goal.
Baron Sternlook: James Lovelock (Showstopper, Music Box) and his herd of improvisers provide a whistle-stop tour through the greatest works of a long forgotten (and entirely made up) composer and lyricist duo. Using audience suggestions they will create a series of songs, scenes and sketches; expect whirlwind romance, gripping drama and outrageous silliness every time!
