What a Nice Night: Number 6 FREE
Featuring comedy of all kinds, What A Nice Night is designed to be a welcoming space for everyone, acts and audience alike.
Entry is free, but contributions are welcome. Come and join us if you fancy a nice night!
This month's line up includes:
Will Lewis: Stuck somewhere between relatable comedy and unbridled surrealism, Will Lewis doesn’t have the clarity of conscience or strength of will to do either. Come and hear his ambitions, his fears and his opinions on which fruit would make the best weapon.
Ashlea Williams: Ashlea has a lot to get off her chest, from the intricacies of gender politics to the increasing relevancy of mid 90s sci-fi. Come and listen to her so she’s not shouting into the wind. “A healthy dose of self deprecating whimsy with a feminist edge” - Tickled Pig Finalist 2014.
Nick Charlesworth: Making his long-awaited return to stand-up comedy, Nick Charlesworth is all but guaranteed to say, and maybe sing, some words near or at you. Judging by the amount of time it's taken him to write this performer blurb, he will probably be making a true return to form by hastily compiling a series of "bits" then shouting the fragments he remembers. Somehow, it's worked for him so far, so apparently he sees no need to change."
Squidheart: A great group comprised of two experienced midlands improvisers, Kate Knight and Suzie Evans. They're a little bit weird (like a squid) and decidedly heartfelt (like a heart, made of felt...)
