FORGE: Inclusive Programming

Day 1 Forging Inclusive Programming brings together programmers, producers and venues to discuss the importance of and opportunities for inclusive programming, to raise any questions or worries they might have and any real challenges inclusive programming may present. These areas raised will provide the basis for Open Space style discussions.

Attendees will benefit from the insight and experience of a panel from across the sector comprising those such as : Chris Sudworth (Hippodrome), Lisa Mallaghan (Mind the Gap), Nicole Thomson (Anjali), Wolverhampton Arena, ACE assessor, and Tim Wheeler (Worcester University formerly MtG).

This day will also provide a platform for 6 learning disabled performance companies to showcase their work via short films. These companies will also have the opportunity to host the Open Space element of the event.

At the close of Day 1 attendees will be encouraged to pledge their own commitment to inclusive programming with the practical steps they will be taking.
