Off The Rails Special with Ben Pope

Join the Off the Rails crew for a wild night of alternative comedy in a very special one-off Off The Rails at The Kitchen Garden Café, Kings Heath.

Former president of the Cambridge Footlights, he has been doing stand-up for seven years. Ben has previously worked with the award-winning NewsRevue, and appeared on Comedy Central’s Achievement Unlocked and BBC New Comedy Award on Radio 4 Extra.

"Undeniably funny and a clear crowd favourite” - EDFEST MAG ****

“Fresh and original…he has an undoubted charm” - SCOTTISH FIELD ****

“Consistently funny and deceptively thoughtful” - THE SCOTSMAN

“A total delight…a ballsy and clear-eyed routine” - FEST

“Classy, stylish and accomplished…Pope has all the comedian’s tools and he knows how to use them” – CHORTLE

Smart. That's the word to describe this act. Luke Smith - AKA Frank Foucault - presents a surreal and very funny character that's particularly hard to describe. Think David Lynch meets James Acaster, with doppelgängers, a story centring on James Corden and the best strip tease you've ever seen.

"Inspired lunacy" - WALESONLINE

"Baffling and daring" - BROADWAY BABY

"Someone to keep and eye on" - CHORTLE

"A tiny work of comic genius" - SCOTSMAN

With support from Abbie Hale.

Doors - 7:30pm for an 8:00pm start.

Hosted by Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2020 Nominated double-act and hometown heroes Good Kids.
