A Tribute to Sandy Denny

The Julie July Band return to play a heartfelt tribute to the great singer-songwriter Sandy Denny. From dreamy acoustic melodies to driving progressive folk-rock, she is described as the "pre-eminent British Folk-Rock singer" and considered the founder of the British Folk Rock movement. In her brief career, she left a legacy of beautiful, haunting original and traditional compositions. Richard Thompson called her "the greatest artist of her generation”. Supporting The July July Band is Colin Pitts who has gained a reputation for writing songs that sometimes make you think, sometimes make you laugh and sometimes just make you feel good. He is deservedly well known for his songs about the Vale of Evesham both past and present.
