The Man Upstairs
The Man Upstairs return to The Kitchen Garden after their triumphant sold out show last May, which was the first time that they had played together in 31 years.
Lead singer Gerry Colvin (aka Nigel Sewell) and original manager Dave Travis had scoured the world searching for the original band members and found most of them living in or around Birmingham, so it was relatively easy really. After intensive rehearsals, The Man Upstairs put together a stunning show of their classic fusion of jazz, indie pop, harmony vocals and poignant lyrics.
So enjoyable was the show for band and audience alike that we're going to do it all again.
