Letting Go of Self-Criticism


We can be our own harshest judge. We can easily develop very high expectations or ourselves and then beat ourselves up when we don’t reach them. Self-criticism and guilt don’t help us to become a better or more effective person, in fact, they tend to cripple us, hold us back and keep us stuck in unhelpful habits. Furthermore, they destroy our inner peace and self-confidence and can even lead to depression and other self-destructive habits.
