Tim Amann xTet FREE
This month celebrates the 21st birthday of live jazz at Moseley Indian restaurant K2. To celebrate, K2 has planned a revamped schedule for the summer season. Opening the new programme on Wednesday 16 May are the current holders of the Symphony Hall Rush Hour Jazz audience poll winners prize, the Tim Amann xTet. K2 is one of the city’s longest established restaurants, having been in its current Moseley location for almost 30 years. Refurbished last year, K2 can probably still lay claim to being Birmingham’s snuggest jazz venue. Diners get up close and personal with bands who squeeze into a corner by the bar. A popular tradition of inviting musicians and singers in the audience to jam with the band ensures an interactive experience for enthusiasts. A relaxed restaurant atmosphere in the heart of Moseley Village means it all adds up to a very special night out.
