Heritage Week: Open Day at Holy Trinity Parish Church FREE

Source http://birminghamheritageweek.co.uk/15-sept/heritage-open-day-at-holy-trinity-parish-church/

We will be celebrating Extraordinary women of Sutton Coldfield with artists Mandy Ross and Pyn Stockman from Secret City Arts. They will engage us in the stories of the suffragettes including local College Principal, Rhoda Anstey.

We will also explore the stories of photographer Emma Barton and two nineteenth century members of Holy Trinity’s congregation who wrote about Sutton Coldfield – Agnes Bracken and Sarah Holbeche.

Our day will be officially opened by the Mayor of the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield – Councillor Derrick Griffin. There might be some surprise royal and church visitors from the past too. There will be fun activities for all ages including dressing up and taking your family photos in Emma Barton’s studio!
