Following the break-up of their former band Pela, Billy McCarthy and Eric Sanderson decided to continue producing the songs and We are Augustines were born. Their debut album ‘Rise Ye Sunken Ships’ documents perhaps the most traumatic period of Billy McCarthy’s life.
