It is 1922, William Gillette, famous Broadway actor and best known for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes, has gathered the cast of his latest revival for a weekend in his mansion. He has arranged a seance as entertainment, but in fact it is the start of an attempt to find out which of his guests is trying to murder him.
