The BBC New Comedy Award 2012 is searching the country for comedy stars of the future to join the likes of previous finalists Alan Carr, Peter Kay, Lee Mack, Sarah Millican and Rhod Gilbert.

Hundreds of acts have entered in the hope of making it through to the heats, this is your chance to see a selection of the chosen ones in our 5th heat battle it out for a place in the semi-finals.
