Paint Your Own Pet Workshop

Would you like to draw and paint on a new project in a relaxed environment? Would you like to meet new people while learning a new mindful skill? Over 2 days I will guide you through some drawing and painting skills that I use to create my pet portraits. Suitable for beginners to intermediate.

Workshop Outline: In session 1 we will draw our portrait using the gridding method from photos of your pets. Challenging you to use the ‘right’ side of your brain. We will also experiment with our new inks/watercolours to create washes, drips and splatters. We will add a background over a few layers using our newly learnt techniques. In the second session we will start to add layers of watercolour to our drawings adding a base tone. Finally we will work into our portraits with further layers of watercolour to create depth and use paint pens to add the fine detail.

The dates and times are: Wednesday 17th April 10am - 2.30pm Friday 19th April (Good Friday) 10am - 2.30pm

We will naturally work at different timescales but you will be able to take work home in between and have your own materials to take away and practice with.

The workshop costs £50 and includes materials needed, group and one to one instruction. Spaces are limited and booking is required by 20th March which you can pay through PayPal or bank transfer. Message to book your place, send me your photos and ask any further questions.
