Birmingham Comedy Festival Free Half-Dayer Pt2 FREE

The second of two very special free half-dayers in two (almost) neighbouring venues in Birmingham city centre - Cherry Reds and The Victoria, in John Bright Street. All shows are FREE/ by donation/ Pay What You Want.

1.15pm - Jay Islaam: Islamophobic Muslim Multi-award-winning comedian Jay Islaam has a reputation for tackling subjects other performers wouldn't dare discuss, and given the current political climate it was inevitable he'd turn his attention to the unique status of Islam in our modern, politically correct, landscape.

2.30pm - Josh Pugh: The Nuneaton and Hinckley Technical College Revue (Work in Progress) Fresh from a full run at the Edinburgh Fringe, the English Comedian of the Year 2016 and Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award 2015 winner returns the festival with a new hour of off-beat ideas and jokes.

3.45pm - Hannah Silvester: Wild-ish Whenever life seems to be going according to plan, Hannah Silvester hears the call of the wild. It’s not easy being an outlaw when you're from Sutton Coldfield. Join the award-winning stand-up comedian for a walk on the wild side, as she runs with the wolves, battles shadows, and tries to get back in time for the school run. (Howling at the moon is optional).

5pm - Freddie Farrell and Masai Graham: Brand New Jokes Freddie and Masai serve up 30 minutes each of brand new jokes. These jokes will either fly or die. Masai has won Best Joke of Edinburgh Fringe and the UK Pun Championships, while this summer Freddie released his debut comedy album Excuse Me While I Burst Into Flames, with American record label Comedy Dynamics.
