Delve into chocolate history at Cadbury World’s Heritage Weekend

Discover the history behind the iconic Cadbury brand, as Heritage Weekend returns to Cadbury World from Saturday 9th – Sunday 10th September.

Taking place during Birmingham Heritage Week, visitors can delve into the rich history of the Cadbury brand on Cadbury World’s guided walks* around Bournville Village.

Highlighting significant places of interest, the tour brings to life George and Richard Cadbury’s story and their revolutionary vision to build both a new factory and community.

Alternatively, for families who prefer to explore the scenic village at their own pace, there is a family-fact finding trail.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “Here at Cadbury World, we are really proud of the chocolate legacy that the Cadbury brothers left behind. Heritage weekend allows visitors to step back in time, explore historical Bournville and discover where the Cadbury story began 193 years ago. It’s a fantastic day out for all the family.”

Heritage Weekend is just one of a number of exciting events coming up this autumn at Cadbury World, including the return of the Sooty Show taking place from 16th – 17th September and Character Weekend from 23rd – 24th September.
