An a-Moo-sing Day Out
In celebration of Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons’ ‘Adopt a Cow’ campaign, Cadbury World will play host to a very special visitor next weekend.
On Saturday 12th August, the Bournville-based attraction will welcome Buttons – an animatronic cow that will be moo-ving around and greeting visitors in the main reception area.
Throughout the weekend, families will also each receive a pack of chocolate buttons on arrival and will be invited to adopt a cow, enabling them to receive regular moo-sletters with updates of all the antics their cow has been up to on the farm, and the chance to win a farm-tastic family weekend to meet their cow in person.
Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, comments: “We’re all very much looking forward to welcoming Buttons the cow to Cadbury World this weekend and it has put the whole team here in a great moo-d!
“This weekend will give visitors the chance to find out more about the fresh ingredients we use from British and Irish farms in a fun and moo-nique way!”
For plenty more activity that’s choc-full of fun, make Cadbury World your destination this summer holiday.
From now until Sunday 3rd September, Cadbury World’s outdoor marquee will be home to a variety of family entertainers – from ventriloquists to magicians – guaranteed to captivate and entertain the whole family.
Visitors will also be able to meet their favourite Cadbury characters and have the chance to take photos with Freddo, the Caramel Bunny and Mr Cadbury’s Parrot throughout the six weeks.
They can also make the most of any sunshine in the outdoor African Adventure Play Area, filled with tube slides, climbing zones and rope bridges. With a separate under 5’s zone for mini-explorers to enjoy, it’s the perfect place to relax with a drink or a snack.
Come rain or shine, the main Cadbury World tour gives visitors the chance to discover the amazing world of Cadbury through a host of chocolatey zones. Explore the history and heritage through the Aztec Jungle and Bull Street zones, and watch the talented chocolatiers in action in the popular Chocolate Making zone, or enjoy a walk through time with Advertising Avenue and try and see which adverts you remember.
With much more on offer, including The World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop and the onsite Cadbury Café, Cadbury World is the perfect destination for a chocolate-themed day trip this summer.
All entertainment is included in the standard ticket price; ensuring a visit to Cadbury World is a great value family day out all year round. Visitors planning a trip this summer can also enjoy an extra 5% saving when booking online in advance.
