Heritage Weekend @ Cadbury World
Discover the rich history behind the Cadbury legacy as Heritage Weekend returns to Cadbury World from Saturday 20th – Sunday 21st May.
Heritage Weekend returns with guided walks around the picturesque Bournville village*. Discover where the Cadbury story began with tours showcasing places of interest in the historic village. The tour brings to life George and Richard Cadbury’s story and their revolutionary vision to build both a new factory and community, as well as improving the quality of life for the ordinary people of Birmingham. Alternatively, visitors of all ages can enjoy a family fact-finding trail and explore the scenic Bournville Village at their own pace.
Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “We’re very proud of our Cadbury legacy and the return of Heritage Weekend is a chance for visitors to discover the story for themselves. It’s one of our most popular activities and allows visitors of all ages to step back in time and learn about the history of our home town and where the Cadbury story all began.”
For Cadbury World visitors looking to explore more Bournville history, visitors can continue on to Selly Manor Museum, located in the Bournville Village, where they will receive 50% off admission to the museum with their Cadbury World ticket.
