Podcast And Publication Launch

This year Women & Theatre mark International Women's Day with a special event featuring performances and discussions, exploring a range of issues about women and work; drawing on the experiences of young women, retired women, and those who have seen massive changes in their sectors over the last 35 years.

Hosted by Women & Theatre's Artistic Director Janice Connolly, this lively and inclusive event will see the launch of their new podcast series and a new publication, featuring monologues from productions For the Past 30 Years, Starting Out and Prime Time. Enjoy an evening of live performances, extracts from our new and unique podcast series and conversations exploring diverse topics such as equal pay, glass ceilings, caring commitments and creating inclusive working environments.

Women & Theatre makes pioneering work which discovers new ways of addressing contemporary issues through performance; we make deep work about things that matter. Reflecting the language and lives of ordinary people, giving voices to those not usually heard.
