Three families are brought together, placed in temporary accommodation in the run up to Christmas.

Amongst them a middle-aged man and his elderly mother, relocated from their previous housing and a young couple preparing to welcome a new child into their family. The bonds of love that keep people together are put to the sternest test in this modern tale of hope, family and courage.

The REP’s Associate Director, Alexander Zeldin and his company return with the highly anticipated second entry in a trilogy of plays to be presented in Birmingham and at the National Theatre. Working extensively with people affected by the issues explored within the play, Alexander has created an honest, insightful and moving portrait of love enduring even in the most challenging of circumstances.
