Cameron Mackintosh’s spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s phenomenal musical success THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA was unveiled at the Theatre Royal Plymouth in February 2012 and will be coming to Birmingham Hippodrome in March 2013 as part of a national tour.

With a brilliant new design by Paul Brown, costumes by the much missed Maria Björnson, a new staging by Laurence Connor, director of the recent acclaimed 25th anniversary celebration at the Royal Albert Hall and with new choreography by Scott Ambler. Lighting design is by Paule Constable and sound design by Mick Potter. The production is overseen by Matthew Bourne and Cameron Mackintosh.

Earl Carpenter will play the role of ‘The Phantom’ and Katie Hall will play the role of ‘Christine’. They will be joined by Simon Bailey as ‘Raoul’, Angela M. Caesar as ‘Carlotta’, Andy Hockley as ‘Monsieur Firmin’, Simon Green as ‘Monsieur Andre’, Elizabeth Marsh as ‘Madame Giry’, Vincent Pirillo as ‘Ubaldo Piangi’, Hannah Cadec as ‘Meg Giry’ and Olivia Brereton as ‘Christine’ at certain performances.
