Tours of Birmingham Cathedral FREE


Visit England's only baroque cathedral, built as a parish church 1705-25. Given cathedral status in 1905. Features 4 world-famous Burne-Jones stained glass windows and relaxing, peaceful churchyard. Various events throughout the weekend. Thursday: 1100-1200 guided tour, 1430-1530 Interfaith endeavour tour. Friday: 1300-1350 Piano duo recital, 1400-1430 poetry reading with Janet Marshall, 1500-1600 guided tour, 1800-1845 Choral Evensong. Saturday is family day.
