World Tai Chi Day
World Tai Chi and Chi Kung Day is held on the last Saturday in April each year.
This year it’s April 27th.
People from all over the world go to parks and open spaces and take part, celebrating the positive effects of Tai Chi.
Eighty countries are expected to be holding events this year, from New Zealand to Hawaii!
Our event will start at 10:30 – for one hour between 10:30 and 11:30 you can try several aspects of the art.
There are warm-up exercises, Chi Kung exercises, Hand Form (Yang’s Long Form), Stick exercises and form for those who are a little more adventurous.
All will be welcome and there will be two instructors that will be teaching an introductory class just for beginners, no previous experience required!
