What a Nice Night: Number 19
It's time for the last WaNN of the year! We've got four fantastic acts all ready to make sure that we leave 2019 on a high.
As always we'll be offering a relaxed evening of comedy in a welcoming atmosphere
Entry to the show is £5. In order to book a seat in advance just drop us an e-mail at: firstname.lastname@example.org
The line up includes:
Joe Goodsall: Notorious for going off topic and talking for too long. He's trying to turn this into an art form. At WaNN he'll be attempting to cram 20 minutes of material into a 10 minute set. He’s been working to get this right for 3 years now; In great cities like Edinburgh and London. Come along and see if he'll finally achieve his goal.
Naomi Paul: A Birmingham based writer and performer of comedy, theatre, songs and spoken word. She’s gained 4-star reviews for her solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and other festivals, including Brighton and Ludlow. Naomi is a member of Birmingham-based Big Script and has published a first collection of poetry, Displacement Activity and other poems.
Ben Moore: Having appeared at our first ever event and returning to great acclaim over subsequent months we're glad to have him back. Put simply Ben is your friendly, funny, neighbourhood poet. Hobbies include long walks in the park, sitting on park benches and reading poems to make you laugh.
Squidheart: Kate and Suzie have appeared at several WaNN's over the last year and each time they return do something completely different and utterly hilarious. Together they are the award-winning (Best Newcomer at Birmingham Fest 2018) twoprov project Squidheart. They're a little bit weird (like a squid) and decidedly heartfelt (like a heart, made of felt). they bring you ‘unique performances that have the audience in stitches’ (leftlion.co.uk); ‘perfect comedy timing’, ‘great fun’ (Midlands Improv)
