STORIES & SONGS on Hair-loss, Cats & Life with RICH STOKES (with OPEN MIC performers)

StoryVibes' guest storyteller this month is Rich Stokes and he'll be presenting a medley of songs and true-life stories which confront the big issues facing us all today: politics, faith, mental health, hair loss, sewage leaks and the difficulties of cat ownership.

Rich is an award-winning writer, comedian and storyteller based in Birmingham. He has toured two live solo shows, The Secret Of Happiness and Shining Examples & Cautionary Tales and his latest, I'm Not Fine (Is That Okay?) debuted at MAC this year.

He has appeared with acclaimed international storyteller Cat Weatherill, writing and performing for her true-life storytelling projects Tell Me On A Sunday,etc and also appeared with Shazia Mirza, Barbara Nice, Andrew O'Neill, Tom Baxter and Benjamin Zephaniah, amongst others. This is a guy not to be missed!

OPEN MIC: Calling all poets, storytellers, writers & musicians - slots are up to 8 minutes each and given out on the door on a first come, first served basis - arrive by 7:00pm on the night to get a slot but be quick as they'll get snapped up!
