Britain’s favourite food stars announced in line up for BBC Good Food Show Summer at Birmingham’s NEC

Organisers today announced an all star line up for the BBC Good Food Show Summer. Seats in the brand new 1,400-seater Supertheatre are now included in the ticket price where visitors can see live demonstrations from some of the best and most loved food stars in the country, including Paul Hollywood, Mary Berry, James Martin, John Torode and Gregg Wallace. Wagner’s Lohengrin is a sumptuous romantic opera on a grand scale. Lothar Koenigs and the Chorus and Orchestra of Welsh National Opera have an international reputation as accomplished interpreters of Wagner’s operas. An exciting cast of singing actors has been assembled for this new production which promises to be a major event in the bicentenary year of the composer’s birth.

Probably the most entertaining group to come out of the 60's and 70's. Their musicianship,their harmonies and of course their humour makes them what their peers call them "The Guvnors". They are supremely talented, a showbiz phenomenon and the best tonic the N.H.S. could give the population. A show not to be missed.

You'll be rockin and laughing as well as rolling. Apart from the old favourites like Call Up The Groups they play their inimitable version of the William Tell Overture and their Flamenco party piece Malaguana. Their parody of Killer Queen about will Camilla be queen and the hilarious take on of Windmills of your Mind about what happens to your body as you get older. Don't miss this one. Professional Grumpy Old Woman, writer and panto star; Eclair has been round the block that many times she’s lost count. After thirty years in the business she should vaguely know what she’s doing?

You may recognise her from Loose Women where she is happy to be one of ‘The Coven’. She is also a Pilates Ninja and a disgrace in her own kitchen.

Touring as a stand-up gives Eclair enormous pleasure. It also gives her dreadful varicose veins, but most importantly it gives her partner (St Geof) a bit of a break.

As Steve Howe started playing the guitar over 50 years ago in the 1960's "guitar boom ", he was given some encouragement by his siblings to listen to other styles of guitar playing which lead him to see the broader and more credible approaches that then diversified his own style, quite considerably. Jazz, classical, folk & country where then added to his interest in rock, pop & blues. He listened & watched as Segovia & Julian Bream, Wes Montgomery & Kenny Burrell, Big Bill Broonzy and Albert Lee took the guitar further than what was riding high in the pop charts.

Trevor Burton was born in Aston, Birmingham. He started playing guitar at a young age and by 1963 was leading his own group called The Everglades. In 1964 he joined Danny King & The Mayfair Set, along with Keith Smart formerly of The Everglades (drums), Roger Harris (keyboards), Denis Ball (Bass) and vocalist King.

Trevor Burton was a founding member of the sixties chart topping band The Move and was initially with them from 1966-1969 and is touring again in 2010 as ‘The Move featuring Trevor Burton & Bev Bevan’ with ‘The Animals and Friends’.
