In God we Trust, 22 Apr 2013 - 23 Apr 2013

22 Apr 2013 - 23 Apr 2013 - Theatre at The Drum

Of over 40 different nationalities, approximately 650 different men have been captured from all around the world to be caged together. The one thread that binds these strangers to one another is that of their faith.

In God We Trust has less to tell about the cages and chains of Guantanamo Bay and more about the captives. It explores the relationship between two young Muslim men who find sanctuary in each other in order to survive amidst the most violent and degrading environment. Writer Avaes Mohammed has created a lyrically dark play that explores the pain and loss of love through captivity and questions faith. Followed by a post-show discussion with the cast, and then a DJ set provided by InQlab.
