As part of Walden Day mac birmingham will be alive with films, talks, music and performances, that amplify Henry Thoreau’s aim to ‘live deep and suck out all the marrow of life’. His message of simple living and self-sufficiency inspired the ecology movement.
At this event experience the results of a collaboration between students of the visual, sonic and text-based arts. Together they have explored the theme of ‘Suburbia’ focusing on the collaborative aspect: How do you create something with people from other disciplines who use different artistic languages?
