Breakfast at the Old Suburban Canteen: 5pm

This project is a collaboration between students of the visual, sonic and text-based arts. We've been meeting regularly since January in order to explore the theme 'Suburbia' in whatever ways we find interesting. The focus has been on the collaborative aspect: How do you create something with people from other disciplines who use different artistic languages? It has been extremely important to work without hierarchies. Music isn’t just used as an accompaniment, but it should be dealt with as independently as a text, a movement or an image.
