Alex Merritt is a saxophonist and composer who has recently graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire. Every Thursday night expect the slinkiest live jazz with notes of gospel, latin, blues and funk from the finest local, national and international artists performing two sets with occasional impromptu jazz jams into the early hours and old school souljazz DJ sets from Yardbird owner, Ollie Lloyd filling the gaps.
