Since forming in early 2009, The Great Western continues to evolve, merging rock, acoustic, folk and blues influences to create a sound that is entirely their own. The latest recordings are a snapshot of a growing band, showing light and shade, noise and stillness.

Stuart Jones has over 35 million total hits on YouTube, with more than 50 thousand videos using Stuart’s music as their video soundtrack. He has released two double albums on Sony Music and his music has featured on such programs as Emmerdale, Good Morning TV and A Place in The Sun.

Stuart’s new musical ‘Picture This, Picture Life’ is currently in the making, featuring over 25 singers on the soundtrack and contains extreme emotion. Some songs from this are already published and will be released this year on CD in 42 countries. Stuart’s classical composition ‘Symphony in F’ is currently being played on Australian national TV and will be performed by full orchestra within the next year

Roscoe Balaban is a good old fashioned singer-songwriter. He is the lead singer of The Gruber and also plays guitar in the band Perhower (formerly Miss Halliwell). His solo material evokes comparisons to the likes of Nick Drake and Neil Young.
