Team Me, Phil Gibbs Band

Team Me is an indie band from Norway. They play warm and rich orchestrated pop music in the same vein as Sufjan Stevens, Efterklang, Patrick Wolf and Jónsi. They started life as Marius D. Hagen’s one-man band but quickly grew into a six-strong orchestra, with Hagen’s fragile acoustic songs transformed into a much larger and richer sound. Hagen is also a member of alternative rock band Jaqueline and half of semi-electronic pop duo Sin along with Tord Øverland Knudsen of English band The Wombats. Their debut album ‘To the Treetops!’ is set for a UK release this Spring. A record that has already captured the imagination of the Norwegian public, winning them Best Pop Group at the Norway’s Grammys.
