Resistant Regime are a unique group of producers, artists and lyricists from Birmingham that bring together that underground rap and bass that you love to skank to – with a conscious sound that refreshes your ears. Whatever you’re taste in music from Old School Rap to Funky House and Base-line, we guarantee to have you pumped up as we submerge you into the dark depths of HipHop and Rap – ‘Can you Resist The Regime?’ "This is the kind of music you get blasting out of pimped up rides down the mean streets, beat heavy, lyrically edgy and in thrall to the great gods of rap." - The Hearing Aid
Zara Sykes has been writing and spitting since the age of 10. She has performed on The channel U tour with Estelle, Nathan and Keisha White, opened for Mario Winas, Angie Stone, Lemar, Gyptian and the Queen of Hip Hop herself Mary J Blige. Sykes spits from the heart and she doesn’t need to swear to be offensive!
Making music for the world beyond heat magazine, Jimmy Davis speaks for a voiceless generation, who long for an end to the injustices and lack of care that blight the world
Unashamed to be living his love, Jimmy offers a model of what is possible with sufficient Belief, Passion and Commitment…having gone from the office cubicle and gossip of the water cooler, to dazzling audiences around the country with his word wizardry and electric live show.
Davis’ kindness, humility and generosity are self-evident. Equally unmissable is his razor tongue and word – establishing him as a standout artist in the emerging field of conscious lyricism. With fans and collaborators including Ed Sheeran, Luke Concannon, Blak Twang and Damien Dempsey, Davis is definitely not just another emcee. Hot off the back of his performances at Glastonbury and gearing up for the release of his seminal piece, Existence is the Sound of Love, this is the perfect opportunity to see Jimmy in an intimate venue performing acoustic versions of his repertoire.
Reflect is a rap Artist from Birmingham, England. He is not for the people that are easily offended but for the people that have a sense of humour. He brought his first rap tape ‘KID N PLAY’ off his school mate for a couple of quid (his lunch money) and has never looked back.
He has just completed his debut album ‘Burp’.
Obi Rudo was born in Belgium, raised in Africa and then moved to England. Fluent in both Belgian French and English he combines both languages to music which he calls call Frenglish RAP.
Redstaar is not new on the music scene, and has collaborated with many of the undiscovered rappers, singers and songwriters who are now also emerging as well-rounded and experienced artists from Birmingham, England. Redstaar observes the people and environment around him and creates themed music from what he sees, aiming to produce something innovative and avant-garde to represent the world and its hidden secrets and treasures.
