The band comprises CHAS Piano/Vocals , his son NIK HODGES on Drums and on bass Darren Juniper the son of an old school friend who first introduced Chas to Dave, This show will give Chas the opportunity to include in story & song his life’s experiences in the studio & on the road before he teamed up with Dave. At 17 years of age playing bass guitar on John Leyton’s' 'Johnny Remember Me', no. 1 in 1961, in the legendary Joe Meek’s studios.
Touring Britain & Germany with The Outlaws as Jerry Lee Lewis' bass player in 1963 when Jerry Lee showed him the way on piano. Then a good part of a year on the road with another of his rock heroes, Gene Vincent. Supporting the Beatles on their last European tour with Cliff Bennett & the Rebel Rousers. And yes! Did you know at one time he was briefly the fourth Beatle? In this show Chas will be telling all this plus more eye opening stories & marvellous music!
