With their ‘Flesh & Bones’ EP receiving plays on Radio 1 this January, appearances at the MTV EMA’s and BBC 1 prime time show ‘Out Of The Blue’ plus summer festivals lining up fast, 2012 is shaping up to be an exciting year for the young Belfast duo The 1930’s , Andrew Cameron and Jonny Solari.
With an emphasis on harmony-laden multi-way vocals, Deportees music is a bit folk, a bit rock, a bit country, a bit pop.2012 has seen the band sign to Independent label Fat Hippy, with a release for their debut album set for October. This will follow up on the success of last years single "I Lost Her To The Sea" which came out on Bedford Records
